Well shit. I don’t really know what you’re into, seeing as you’re anonymous, but I’ll give it a shot. Here’s what I’ve been listening to the past few months, I’ll try to jump around:
- This WIll Destroy You. Instrumental, huge build-ups that don’t leave you hanging, makes you hate yourself for not being as talented as them.
- Doomtree. Kind of brings back old school hip hop and does it right.
- Kay Kay and His Weathered Underground. Now, they’re due to have a new album out somewhat soon, and I’m stoked. This is my favorite band. You’ll dig it if you just like hearing people just plain jam out and unusual transitions in songs.
- Grouplove. This is kind of a wild card. They’re this weird poppy-indie combo which I usually wouldn’t be down with, but I can’t help but enjoy ‘em. Dancey shit.
- Others that I just have around all the time: Means, Operation Ivy, The Wonder Years, Fireworks, Iron and Wine, The Dear Hunter, Into It. Over It., Jeff Pianki, Sufjan Stevens. Hope I gave you some new stuff.
